I've come to Japan to see Obasan, a friend that I met in Lao PDR last year. She retired a few years ago. She wants to travel China, Tibet, Nepal and India. She's had that idea in mind for a long time. So I will be her travelmate this summer and I will shoot movies about her travels. The below map shows you roughtly where we intend to go. I will try to update it as often as possible. Articles on this blog will be written in japanese (Obasan), english and french (me). They will give both our visions of the travel and are not supposed to be translations. We should start around the 5th of August for 3-4 months. We hope you enjoy following us. Pierre.
Je suis arrivé au Japon la semaine dernière, pour préparer le voyage d'Obasan - une amie rencontrée au Laos. Depuis des années elle veut aller en Chine, au Tibet, au Népal et en Inde, je vais l'accompagner et la filmer pendant son voyage. La carte ci-dessous est une ébauche de ce voyage. Je tâcherai de mettre à jour cette carte aussi souvent que possible. Il y aura pour chaque article une version dans chaque langue - en japonais par Obasan, en anglais et en français pour ma part - et deux points de vues différents.
